Enterprise AI Workflows

Home / Enterprise AI Workflows

Enterprise AI workflows, mapped step by step.

23 automations we design and build for banks, insurers, finance teams and large organisations. Each one shows the trigger, what the AI does, which systems it connects, where a person stays in control and how success is measured.

How every workflow is built

AI does the work. People keep control.

We never automate a process we have not mapped. Every workflow below follows the same pattern, with clear thresholds for when a human must step in.

01

Trigger

An event starts the workflow: a new document, a message, a transaction, an alert or a schedule.

02

AI does the legwork

Agents read, extract, check, match, research and draft, using live data from your systems.

03

A person decides

Anything regulated, risky or above a threshold goes to a named approver with the evidence ready.

04

Systems update

Records, tickets, ledgers and customers are updated automatically, and every step is logged.

01 · Banking & Financial Services

Modernise the core. Automate the compliance.

Banks, microfinance banks and fintechs carry the heaviest manual load in compliance, onboarding and legacy operations. These workflows take that load off your teams while keeping every regulated decision with a person.

BFS-01

AI-assisted core banking modernisation

Move off a legacy core product by product, without a risky big-bang cutover.

How it runs

  1. AI agents scan legacy code (COBOL, PL/SQL, stored procedures) and map every dependency, data flow and batch job.
  2. Business rules for interest, fees, limits and products are extracted into plain-language specifications.
  3. Approved rules are rebuilt as services on the new core or a modern API layer, one product at a time.
  4. AI generates regression tests from historic transactions, edge cases and regulatory scenarios.
  5. Old and new cores run in parallel while an agent reconciles balances and postings daily and explains every break.

Systems it connects

  • Finacle
  • Temenos T24 / Transact
  • Oracle FLEXCUBE
  • Mainframe & COBOL
  • Kafka / event streams

Human checkpoint: Product owners sign off every extracted rule. Cutover happens only after reconciliation runs clean.

What we measure: Rules documented, test coverage, daily reconciliation breaks, months to cutover.

BFS-02

KYC and customer onboarding

Open low-risk accounts in minutes and send only the real risk to compliance.

How it runs

  1. Customer submits ID, selfie and proof of address through the app, web or WhatsApp.
  2. AI reads and validates the documents, checks they match and flags anything missing.
  3. BVN and NIN are verified automatically, with sanctions and PEP screening.
  4. A risk score is assigned. Low-risk customers are opened straight through in the core banking system.
  5. Medium and high-risk cases go to compliance with a pre-filled case summary and evidence.

Systems it connects

  • BVN (NIBSS)
  • NIN (NIMC)
  • Sanctions & PEP lists
  • Core banking
  • CRM

Human checkpoint: Compliance officers decide every medium and high-risk case.

What we measure: Time to open an account, onboarding drop-off, manual review hours per application.

BFS-03

AML alert triage and investigation

Most monitoring alerts are false positives. Let an agent do the legwork on each one.

How it runs

  1. Transaction monitoring raises an alert.
  2. An agent gathers account history, counterparties, the KYC file and adverse media.
  3. The alert is scored against known typologies, with a written, auditable rationale.
  4. Clear false positives are queued for quick closure; suspicious activity is escalated with a drafted case narrative.
  5. The analyst reviews, decides and files the STR through goAML when needed.

Systems it connects

  • Transaction monitoring
  • Core banking
  • Adverse media sources
  • goAML / NFIU
  • Case management

Human checkpoint: Analysts decide every escalation and every STR. Closures are sampled for quality assurance.

What we measure: Review time per alert, alert backlog, quality of closure decisions.

BFS-04

Loan origination and pre-underwriting

Underwriters spend their time on judgement, not on reading bank statements.

How it runs

  1. An application arrives with bank statements, payslips or company financials.
  2. AI reads the statements, categorises income and spending and calculates affordability ratios.
  3. Credit bureau reports are pulled and checked against what the applicant declared.
  4. Inconsistencies and fraud signals are flagged.
  5. An underwriting memo with a recommendation is prepared and the loan system is pre-filled.

Systems it connects

  • Loan origination system
  • CRC / FirstCentral credit bureaus
  • Open banking & statement APIs
  • Core banking

Human checkpoint: A credit officer makes every lending decision.

What we measure: Application-to-decision time, applications per underwriter, performance by score band.

BFS-05

Disputes, failed transfers and chargebacks

Resolve the most common customer complaints before they become escalations.

How it runs

  1. A complaint arrives through the app, WhatsApp, email or a branch.
  2. AI classifies it (failed transfer, ATM, card dispute, suspected fraud) and finds the transaction in core and switch logs.
  3. Where rules allow, reversals are processed automatically; otherwise the dispute is raised with NIBSS or the card scheme.
  4. The customer gets proactive status updates until the case is closed.

Systems it connects

  • Core banking
  • Switch / NIP logs
  • Card management
  • WhatsApp Business API
  • Complaints system

Human checkpoint: Refunds above a set limit and all fraud claims are approved by operations staff.

What we measure: Resolution time, SLA breaches, complaints escalated to the regulator.

02 · Enterprise System Integration

Your systems, finally talking to each other.

Most enterprise work is people copying data between systems that were never designed to connect. We connect them with APIs, event streams and AI agents, and give your agents safe, permissioned access to the data they need.

INT-01

Order-to-cash across CRM and ERP

From a closed deal to cash in the bank without anyone re-keying an order.

How it runs

  1. A deal is marked won in the CRM.
  2. An agent validates the customer, pricing and credit limit in the ERP.
  3. The sales order and invoice are created automatically.
  4. Payment status flows back from the payment gateway and ERP into the CRM.
  5. Exceptions such as pricing mismatches or credit holds go to finance in Teams or Slack with context.

Systems it connects

  • Salesforce / HubSpot / Zoho
  • SAP / Dynamics 365 / NetSuite
  • Paystack / Flutterwave
  • Teams / Slack

Human checkpoint: Finance approves credit-limit overrides and non-standard pricing.

What we measure: Order cycle time, re-keying errors, days sales outstanding.

INT-02

Secure AI agent gateway (MCP) to enterprise data

Let staff and AI agents query live business systems, with the access controls your security team expects.

How it runs

  1. Approved data and actions from ERP, CRM, HR and databases are exposed as MCP servers and APIs.
  2. Role-based permissions limit what each agent can read or change; credentials never reach the model.
  3. Staff ask questions in Teams, Slack or the intranet and the agent answers from live systems.
  4. Any write action, such as updating a record, requires approval.
  5. Every query and action is logged for audit.

Systems it connects

  • Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • ERP & CRM
  • Data warehouse
  • Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace
  • Identity provider

Human checkpoint: Security owns the permission policies. Write actions need a named approver.

What we measure: Time to answer, ad-hoc report requests to analysts, completeness of access logs.

INT-03

API enablement for legacy systems

Give systems without APIs a modern interface so automation can reach them.

How it runs

  1. We inventory screens, databases and batch files used by the legacy system.
  2. An API layer is built with database adapters and file watchers, using RPA only where nothing else works.
  3. Changes are published as events so other systems react in near real time.
  4. AI agents and modern apps use the new APIs instead of manual exports.
  5. Integrations are monitored with retries, alerts and dashboards.

Systems it connects

  • Legacy desktop apps
  • Oracle / SQL Server
  • SFTP batch files
  • RPA
  • Kafka / message queues

Human checkpoint: System owners sign off data mappings. Failed syncs alert the operations team.

When a key customer has a problem, everyone who needs to act knows in minutes.

How it runs

  1. A priority issue is detected from a ticket, an email or a monitoring alert.
  2. The agent pulls CRM history, the contract SLA and related open tickets.
  3. An engineering ticket is created in Jira with full context and reproduction details.
  4. The account owner and leadership are notified in Slack or Teams.
  5. Progress is tracked to resolution, the CRM is updated and a customer update is drafted.

Systems it connects

  • CRM
  • Jira
  • Zendesk / Freshdesk
  • Slack / Teams
  • Contract repository

Human checkpoint: The account manager approves every customer-facing message.

What we measure: Time to escalate, SLA compliance, retention of escalated accounts.

In-country or private-cloud hosting options, with data handling designed around the NDPA 2023 and GDPR.

Don’t see your process?

If it’s repetitive, rules-based or document-heavy, we can probably automate it.

Book an automation audit. We’ll map one process with your team, estimate the hours and cost it could save, and show you what the automated version looks like before you commit to a build.
